Day 1:
Arrive Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Explore with Paragon this timeless land whose Old Order
inhabitants continue to plow with horses, travel in buggies and
assemble in homes for worship. Amid the sights and sounds of
Amish country, you'll spend three nights at the impressive
Lancaster Host Resort. Your accommodations offer an indoor
and outdoor swimming pool, jogging trails, cozy lounge and even
an 18 hole golf course. This evening enjoy dinner at the
impressive Miller's Smorgasbord. (D)
Day 2: Amish Dairy Farm Tour
This morning, with a local guide, you'll experience a
fascinating tour of the Amish farmlands. You'll explore a
Farmer's Market*, the ever-popular Kitchen Kettle Complex, a
quilt and craft store and a bake shop. In order for you to
greater appreciate the pre-modern pace of Amish life.Tonight you'll enjoy a special
Penn Dutch feast (B, D)
Day 3: Gettysburg/Dinner Theatre
Today you'll travel to Gettysburg where the history of the Civil
War comes alive through a narrated tour of the Gettysburg
Battlefields. Included on this tour are Little Round Top,
Pickett's High Water Mark, the Jenny Wade House, and the Eternal
Light Peace Memorial. Tonight enjoy the Dutch Apple Dinner
Theatre (B, D)
Day 4: Farmers Market -Depart
for Home
This morning you'll visit the farmers market before departing
for home (B)
